Mini Abdominoplasty
A shorter horizontal incision above the pubic area addresses excess skin and fat in the lower abdomen only — below the navel. The belly button is not repositioned. Suitable for patients with mild laxity localised below the navel and no significant muscle separation.
€4,000 – €5,200
Full Abdominoplasty
The complete procedure: a hip-to-hip incision, removal of the excess lower abdominal skin panel, repair of diastasis recti (separated midline muscles) with internal sutures, and repositioning of the navel. Addresses the entire abdominal wall from pubis to ribs.
€5,000 – €7,000
Abdominoplasty + Liposuction
Liposuction of the flanks and upper abdomen is performed simultaneously with a full tummy tuck to create a 360° waist contour. This combination achieves the most dramatic overall silhouette improvement. Liposuction of the central abdominal flap itself is avoided for safety.
€6,500 – €9,000
Stage 1
Day 1 — Consultation & Marking
Surgeon examines skin laxity, diastasis recti and fat distribution with you standing. Marks the planned incision and resection zone. 3D simulation shown. Blood panel and anaesthesia assessment completed.
Stage 2
Day 2 — Surgery
Procedure under general anaesthesia. Excess skin removed, abdominal muscles repaired with permanent internal sutures, navel repositioned and a new opening sutured in the natural position. Drains placed. Duration 2–4 hours. One hospital night.
Stage 3
Day 3–5 — Hospital & Clinic Check
Drain output monitored; drains typically removed day 3–4. You are discharged in a compression garment. Surgeon checks the wound and prescribes antibiotics. You must walk slightly bent forward for the first week to reduce tension on the incision.
Stage 4
Week 2–4 — Active Recovery
The compression garment is worn 23 hours a day. Swelling peaks at week 2 and gradually subsides. Walking upright is fully comfortable by week 2–3. Driving and desk work can resume at 2 weeks.
Stage 5
Month 2–3 — Scar Maturation
The hip-to-hip scar (positioned to sit below the bikini line) transitions from red to pink. Silicone scar gel application begins at week 6. Abdominal massage encouraged to soften residual firmness.
Stage 6
Month 6 — Final Contour
Swelling fully resolved. The flat, smooth abdominal contour is permanent provided weight remains stable. The scar will continue to fade and flatten over 12–18 months.
