Choose the approach that fits your goals and budget.
Closed Rhinoplasty
All incisions are made inside the nostrils — no external scars. The skin is lifted and the underlying cartilage and bone reshaped through the internal approach. Ideal for moderate changes to the bridge and tip. Shorter swelling period than open rhinoplasty.
€3,200 – €4,200
Open Rhinoplasty
A small incision across the columella (the strip between the nostrils) provides direct visibility of the entire nasal framework. Preferred for complex tip work, significant bridge reduction or revision cases. The scar fades to near-invisibility within 6–12 months.
€3,800 – €5,000
Piezo (Ultrasonic) Rhinoplasty
An ultrasonic device selectively cuts bone without damaging surrounding soft tissue — resulting in less bruising, minimal swelling and a faster recovery compared to traditional osteotomy. The gold standard for patients requiring bridge narrowing or bone work.
€4,500 – €6,000
Stage 1
Day 1 — Consultation & 3D Planning
Facial photography and 3D simulation. You and your surgeon review the proposed changes on-screen and approve the surgical plan. Pre-operative blood panel completed same day.
Stage 2
Day 2 — Surgery
Procedure performed under general anaesthesia. Duration 2–3 hours. You spend one night in hospital for monitoring. A thermoplastic splint is applied to the nose before you leave the operating room.
Stage 3
Day 7–10 — Splint Removal
Clinic visit for splint and suture removal. Bruising around the eyes has largely faded. Swelling at the bridge is still present — this is normal. Most patients are comfortable in public by day 10.
Stage 4
Month 1 — Presentable Result
The majority of swelling has resolved. About 70–80% of the final result is visible. Return to desk work and light activity is possible. Avoid sunglasses resting on the bridge for 6 weeks.
Stage 5
Month 6 — Refinement Phase
Residual tip swelling continues to resolve. The nasal skin adapts to the new structure beneath. Final photographs compared with pre-operative images.
Stage 6
Month 10–12 — Final Result
The nose has fully healed and settled. The result you see now is permanent. Skin type affects timeline — thicker skin may take the full 12 months to show the refined tip shape.
